Kenny Loggins

Kenny Loggins (né Kenneth Clark Loggins le 7 janvier 1948) est un chanteur et guitariste américain.
Il s'est d'abord fait connaître au début des années 70 en remportant de jolis succès en duo avec Jim Messina. C'est en 1977 qu'il a initié sa carrière solo. Celle-ci reste notamment marquante pour ses chansons-thèmes de films. On se souvient de Danger Zone pour "Top Gun", I'm Alright pour "Caddyshack", Footloose et I'm Free (Heaven helps the man) pour "Footloose", Meet Me Half Way pour "Over The Top".
Malheuresement la majeur parti de ses concert n'ont eut lieu qu'aux Etats Unis au grands regrets des nombreux fan situés dans le monde entier.

Cette album en duo avec Jim Messina eut un succès et fit découvrir au grand public américain notamment Kenny Loggins, on y trouve les titres:

Le duo enregistra plusieurs albums qui ont connu un bon succès. Dans le second, intitulé "Loggins and Messina", le duo est accompagné de Rusty Young de Poco et a composé « Your mama don't dance » et « Angry eyes ».
Loggins et Messina arrêtent leur collaboration en 1976 et continuent des carrières solo, Loggins ayant plus de succès que Messina.
Messina a ensuite poursuivi sa carrière comme compositeur et coach. En 2005, Loggins et Messina ont reformé leur duo et ont effectué une tournée qui a eu beaucoup de succès aux États-Unis. Ils ont réalisé un nouveau CD (et DVD) "Loggins and Messina Sittin' In Again."

C'est en 1977 que sort le premier album solo de Kenny Loggins intitulé "Celebrate Me Home" celui-ci connait un réel succès.

En 1978, il sort un second album solo intitulés Nightwatch qui se veut tout aussi soft et "calme" que le premier album, on sent pour ces album l'influence des années 1970 qui se voit également sur l'apparence de Kenny.
